In 2008 I focused on one question, which was concerned with the possiblility to work up a drama without words. I chose for this laboratory work Samuel Beckett’s „Endgame” drama. It became the main 2008 international project of the Shu Workshop. We worked concentrated for one year on this project; we approached the drama and other Beckett’s writing from several viewpoints. During this year we made 4 completely different plays of the „Endgame”. The base of the play without words was the written instructions of Beckett. The full text, what we finely used was 12% (in the first pilot play -ME TO PLAY- it was 5%) of the original Beckett text.
